IPL-Chartreuse vs. Sarah

My battle against Sarah and her Vaporeon. I have a lot of qualms with this, and it mostly took me so long because i just wanted to give up but i pushed thru.

Chartreuse had just began journeying with his pokemon. His Drilbur, Uzamaki, wanted to practice his digging, despite it's already unworldly speed under ground as well as above ground. Chartreuse made his first stop at Diglett's Cave, figuring it was a perfect place to dig, and thought it would also be interesting to show Uzamaki his Kanto cousins. At one point during Uzamaki's dig he surfaces alongside a Vaporeon. Chartreuse runs towards the two readying to catch a rare pokemon, when he sees a girl also approaching the two. They see each other and immediately come to the same conclusion. Chartreuse cordially asks for a battle, heart racing, adrenaline pumping, this would be his first match since he left home, she accepts.

He may be new, but Chartreuse isn't one to simply jump into things without a plan. He immediately realized the type advantage but didn't at all despair. He started the battle carefully, before implementing Uzamaki's favorite tactic. A gruesome combination of substitute dig and and toxic. Uzamaki fills his substitutes with toxic and confuses opponents with the clone, and when they attack they get badly poisoned. Vaporeon falls for it hook, line and sinker the first time, but makes sure not to take Uzamaki head on afterwards, just in case its another substitute. Surf is no good either because the toxic liquid may mix and splash back, so ice beam it was. Not only was it powerful but the toxic would also freeze posing no threat. However even when Vaporeon hit the real Drilbur, it was extremely quick to use protect and even more quickly dig an escape.

Vaporeon's health was quickly waning, but Drilbur wasn't tired at all. It began using swords dance in between moves preparing for a single finishing blow, whether it be dig or shadow claw. All it had to do was wait for the toxic to do it's job and attack once the moment was right.
